Is Your Team Ready to Work with AI?

Your competitors are already using AI to move faster, create more, and spend less.

The question isn't whether your team will adopt AI — it's whether they'll learn to use it well.

The AI Layer is a structured programme that takes your team from curious to capable.

Enquire About The AI Layer

What Is The AI Layer?

The AI Layer is a six-week structured programme designed for marketing and creative teams who want to get practical with AI — not just understand what it is, but know how to use it in their day-to-day work. Each module builds on the last, moving your team from foundational knowledge to confident, hands-on capability.

I built this programme after working with agencies and in-house teams who were enthusiastic about AI but struggling to make it stick. Most training either stays too theoretical or jumps straight to tools without the context that makes them useful. The AI Layer bridges that gap: real tools, real workflows, and the critical thinking needed to use them well.

The programme is self-paced with structured modules, making it easy to fit around your team's existing schedule. Optional 1:1 sessions are available for teams who want personalised coaching alongside the core curriculum.

What You'll Walk Away With

Hands-on capability

You won't just learn about AI — you'll use it. Every module is built around real tools, real prompts, and real outputs that translate directly to your work.

Critical judgment

Knowing when not to use AI is as valuable as knowing when to. The programme builds the discernment to make that call confidently.

A workflow that sticks

AI adoption fails when it doesn't fit how teams actually work. You'll leave with a practical framework for integrating AI into your existing processes.

Lasting relevance

The tools will change. The thinking frameworks won't. The programme focuses on durable principles alongside current best practice so your team stays ahead.

Programme Curriculum

1

Foundations

Understand what AI can and cannot do for creative work. We cut through the hype to build an accurate mental model of how large language models, image generators, and video AI tools actually work — grounded in real-world case studies of AI integration in marketing and creative teams. Your team will leave with the context to make informed decisions about where AI adds value and where human judgement remains essential.

2

Prompt Engineering

Learn to craft effective prompts for text, image, and video generation. This module goes beyond basic tips to teach systematic prompt structures: role-setting, constraint-framing, iteration strategies, and the specific techniques that produce consistent, on-brand output across different AI platforms — including design-specific prompting for briefs, scripts, and visual direction.

3

AI as Creative Partner

Use AI as an active collaborator at every stage of the creative process — not just for execution, but for thinking. This module covers AI-assisted desk research and ideation, using AI to pressure-test concepts and surface blind spots, and applying AI to creative critiques, heuristic evaluations, and QA reviews. You'll learn when to lean on AI's breadth and when to override it with your own expertise.

4

Creating with AI Tools

Get hands-on with the tools that are reshaping creative production. We cover microcopy generation, UX writing, and content localisation; brand imagery, moodboards, and design variations using image generation; and wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using AI prototyping tools. Equal emphasis is placed on evaluating and refining AI-generated outputs — knowing what good looks like is what separates capability from dependence.

5

Quality & Ethics

Maintain brand standards and navigate the ethical considerations that come with AI-assisted creative work. This module covers output review frameworks, copyright and licensing, bias awareness, and the organisational challenges of responsible AI adoption — including how to build internal guidelines that keep your team producing work you're proud to put your name on.

6

Future-Proofing Your Workflow

Understand how AI is reshaping creative roles and team structures, and design scalable systems that balance automation with human judgement. We cover how to build an AI adoption roadmap for your specific context, track impact, and develop the adaptive strategies that keep your team's skills relevant as the AI landscape continues to evolve rapidly.

Go Further with 1:1 Sessions

The core programme gives your team the knowledge and frameworks to work with AI confidently. For teams who want to go deeper, I offer personalised coaching sessions tailored to your specific tools, projects, and creative challenges.

These sessions complement the programme curriculum rather than replacing it — they're an opportunity to work through your real work together, get direct feedback on your prompts and workflows, and solve problems that are specific to your context. If you want a more direct line to progress, this is the way to do it.

Greg Honmong is a video producer and generative AI creative with hands-on experience across commercial production, AI-assisted creative workflows, and helping teams build practical AI capability. His work spans branded content, motion graphics, and generative media — giving him a practitioner's perspective on where AI genuinely helps and where the craft still matters.
